This course offers comprehensive training on the design of conventionally framed wood roofs for residential structures and is based on the 2024 International Residential Code. This module covers roof loading, the design of framing elements such as rafters, ceiling joists, roof sheathing and all pertinent connections. This module also includes training on the integration of engineered trusses in conventional framing.
